SMC-IT is more software focused and includes ground aspects of supporting space missions, whereas the Fault Tolerant Space Computing workshop now conference has traditionally had more hardware focus. Please be assured that the conference reviewers will consider your submission even if they believe it fits in a different track or session
Of course these are still welcome; there is no need to submit them as a candidate for peer-reviewed and published papers. Please do coordinate with the track or session chair in which you think your topic fits. If you are not sure who to contact, then please contact the general chairs
In order to support the social events of the joint conference, working groups are now included as part of the tracks/sessions, with time allocated for discussion by the track/session chair. Since that opportunity for discussion has been a valuable part of the Fault Tolerant Space Computing workshop now conference, we wanted to make sure there was time for it without taking away from the benefit of the collaboration with SMC-IT. Please do let us know if this revised format is effective.
